March 31st
It was so good to see most of you yesterday! Also, I can't believe that tomorrow is APRIL 1ST!!! Time is flying by so fast! For yesterday's question about the weather, most people said...sunny, cloudy, and warm! A 3-way tie! All of you were correct though...yesterday it was cold, windy, cloudy, sunny, partly cloudy, partly sunny, rainy, AND warm!!! It just depends on when you were outside! There was even HAIL! It's Spring, the season that has EVERYTHING!
There are a few new things on your to do list starting today, so double check the list below. But to get us started today, here is Today's question... If you could have a mythical creature as a pet, which one would you have? I would love a dragon that flies and breathes fire. I love riding horses, but being able to ride something as it flies, with the added bonus of it breathing fire to protect me, I think a dragon would be the coolest! I just think I would need a bigger yard for it to live with me! I have updated the survey, please look at it each day and mark off what you complete. The student number is required so I can make sure I'm getting the correct assignments from the correct students. If your student has forgotten their number, I can message you. I may change the survey depending on which assignments I give each day, so please check and answer it daily. Please check in with me if you are struggling with anything! Also, I will be starting to assign some videos on phonics for some students. Please let me know if you are having trouble viewing them. These videos are of Heggerty lessons that students had with me before the closure. These videos have been done by another teacher, but have the same content and movements I use. It looks like most people can do our ZOOM show and tell on Wednesday. However, to make sure I'm not interrupting Breakfast/Lunch pickup at the school, the times will be 11:15-11:45 am, and 6:30-7pm. If those times don't work, please let me know! Tuesdays are usually our Art day with Mrs. Cherry. She has given me some ideas for Art and Music that I am sharing here for you. All of the activities should be approved by parents before beginning! You can also work on any unfinished art you have in your Unfinished Work Folder.
