I am so excited to see your faces today! I have been playing around with Zoom a bit, so I feel pretty confident on my end of it. But I'm still crossing my fingers that everything goes well on your end! I will be asking you how things are going and getting ideas for some videos to post! You should be able to join by just clicking the link below. You shouldn't have to download anything, but you can choose to. You should be able to access the video chat just through the internet browser (Safari, Chrome, etc). Here are the links.
Morning meeting 10-10:30am https://zoom.us/j/943353289 Evening meeting 6:30-7pm https://zoom.us/j/844808223 On Monday, I will be at the school to gather supplies and hand them out at 10-11am. If you can't stop by during that time, I will drop them by your home later in the day. I will have instructions on what to do with those workbooks starting on Tuesday. Today's question... What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Does it come from a specific store or restaurant? If you don't like ice cream, what is your favorite dessert or treat? My favorite flavor of ice cream is called Swiss Milk Chocolate, and you can only find it at Leatherby's. I grew up in Northern California, and there is a Leatherby's there. I used to go there for birthdays and other celebrations. I LOVE TO TOP IT WITH HOT FUDGE! Most of my family members like Swiss Milk Chocolate, but some like it with other toppings. Some of my siblings(and even my dad) like to put strawberries on it. I still go to Leatherby's for birthdays and other celebrations because there are a few here in Utah, and I still get Swiss Milk Chocolate EVERY TIME!!! On Fridays we have Science and Social Studies. Today I want you to watch these two Mystery Science lessons on Germs. I know this isn't our normal 2nd grade science topic, but I thought with all the talk about germs, sickness, viruses, and staying healthy, these videos do a great job of telling why we do the things we do! Also, feel free to explore other videos on the Mystery Science website once you're done. https://mysteryscience.com/mini-lessons/germs https://mysteryscience.com/mini-lessons/germs-sanitizer Today's Assignments:
