Today's question... What is one thing you wish I knew about you? I wish you knew how often I think about each of you and how I can be the best teacher possible for you. I worry about you, I hope for you to be cared for and successful, I try to know how best to reach you, and make sure everyday you know you are LOVED!!! The iReady diagnostic assessment has been assigned. Please take your time and work out problems on paper or whiteboards before your answer. you can take as long as you need to finish it. Library books, Bookmobile books, and Take Home Reading books need to be returned to the school as soon as possible. There are boxes outside the school from 9am to noon. I will send personal Dojo messages with information about Library books you still have out. Our end-of-year schedule... May 12th-Last day of NEW assignments May 13th-Virtual Field Trips Begin (optional) -Learning Fair submissions due-send to [email protected] May 15th-Talent show submissions due-send to [email protected] May 18th-Virtual Learning Fair May 19th-Silly Face Show (photos only) May 20th-Grade-Up Zoom (meet with teacher for next year!) Today for math, do GoMath chapter 11 test on pages 549-552. I will need pictures of each page of your work. If you finish and feel ready, you can start the iReady diagnostic test. MATH: Assigned GoMath test. Also, do the number of the day page in your Morning Workbook and work on iReady green lessons.
Dojo: Answer daily question from Mrs. Cobabe
Spelling City: Do one game for spelling words, and one game for high frequency words.
Lexia: Students should still do Lexia 10 minutes a day, or as needed to meet their weekly goal. (Goal information sent out with the passwords email)
WRITING: Do the edits for the day, and work on writing assignment for the week.
Writing final drafts will need to be submitted typed in Wonders or by photo through Dojo or email. The files needed to plan and write are linked below, but are also in your Writing Skills Workbook. U6W4 is due May 10th.
