Dear Second Grade Families,
I know this is a time of frustration and uncertainty, but I would really love to try and keep things as normal as possible. I will be checking in daily through Dojo (or text if you don't have Dojo) just with a quick question that will keep us connected and learning about each other even though we are separated! Please help your student answer this, the connections we share are going to be vital for working through all of this. I want to use this time to grow together! I will give a list of activities to do each day. Please try to do them all, I wouldn't give busy work, these are important to ensure students don't lose what they've already learned and to ensure that we can move forward in teaching once we get to see each other again! Please let me know if you need any help with your student's login information for any of the online activities I give. Make sure to check out the extension activities to keep the boredom at bay! I really hope we can get through this with as little time and content lost as possible. Thank you parents for your willingness to support your student in their learning, I know it's an adjustment. I have a child in middle school and a senior in high school this year that will be my own challenges at home ;) Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need ANYTHING! Even if it's not a question, you just need to talk/vent/commiserate, I want to be here for you and your student as much as possible.
Love, Mrs. Cobabe
